Uber is seeking a highly analytical Finance Program Manager to join its Product and Program Management division in Bangalore or Hyderabad. In this specialized role, you will hold end-to-end ownership of key budget-oriented data across multiple platform-wide programs. Your day-to-day focus will blend technical data analysis with strategic program management—handling monthly planning, tracking accruals, monitoring spend optimization, and proactively flagging budget utilization trends. You will also collaborate closely with core strategic finance teams to craft the organization's comprehensive annual budget plan, helping build scalable systems that elevate customer experience and reduce platform defects.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of mandatory work experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a highly quantitative discipline.
• Advanced data management and Excel modeling skills combined with strong SQL proficiency to self-serve and investigate massive raw datasets.
• Solid programming skills in Python with practical experience in data extraction and wrangling libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Plotly.
• Experience working with Google App Script and productivity ecosystems (Google Sheets, Slides, Google Colab) to create automated, real-time reporting dashboards.
• A solid foundational understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts to drive budget conversations with cross-functional leadership.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to synthesize complex fiscal information into clear, actionable highlights for remote global teams working across multiple time zones.
